Jossy Don1 is multi talented dance hall artist with skills in acting and singing. He is an indigene of Edo state esan north east (Nigeria)  he grew up at ogba ikeja part of lagos nigeria. Real name Joshua Benedict Ihanza;  Jossy don1 is from a humble Christian background.

 

 

Jossy Don1 attended tender age nursery and primary school in Edo state before he moved to Lagos at the age of Nine (9) with his parents. He thereafter attended Specialist College, Ogba Lagos. and obtained his w.a.e c at state high school as an external student, Jossy don1 discovered the music side of him when he met a crew called “Big Homies” that featured him on a song and then he decided to continue doing music afterwards.

Jossy Don1 attended Ambrose Ali University where he bagged a Diploma in Business Administration, he then attended Yaba College of Technology where he had OND in business Administration. Jossy Don1 was known for his artistry while in school as he got to perform at shows in school and events held outside campus.

This multi talented artist featured in Rockville Season2; an MNET Movie and also in TINSEL Season 3 in Nigeria. His first single titled “Moving” was nominated for best single “Raggae dancehall” of the year at Pretoria Music Awards in south africa 2013.

He has performed at OPYA canival (in Lagos), OJEZ Night Club (Surulere), Europa Lounge (Pretoria), KONG (Rosebank). and so many places and events withen in and outside south africa we he base, He Hopes to do songs with Sean Paul, Beenie Man,elephant man,lil wayne,akon, 2Face Idibia, Don Jazzy,p square, Tiwa Savage, Flavor, Timaya, nikki minaj.rick ross, Jossy Don1 sees himself being rated amongs Best Dance Hall artists in the whole of Africa in the next 5years.
